Tap on them and choose to attack your enemy’s Allies or Hero directly by tapping on them in the now close-up view of your opponent’s play-area. When your next turn rolls around, any formerly exhausted Ally will now be ready to attack.As you earn resources and play Ally cards (living companions that help your Hero in battle), these Ally cards will enter the battle in an exhausted state, and can’t actually attack until your next turn.Until you have enough resources, you won’t be able to do anything with these casted cards, so for now, you’ll need to end your turn by tapping on End Turn in the lower right corner of the screen.Tap on the card you would like to send into battle and tap on Cast. Any card that can be played legally on your turn will highlight, simplifying play. Each card in your hand has a number in the top left corner (normally 1-4) which tells you how many resources you will need on-hand to play it.Each time you have a turn thereafter, you’ll be able to spend these resource points to play Ally and Item cards until you run out.You can sacrifice a card simply by tapping on it and tapping Sacrifice. Resources are required to play other cards, so it’s a smart idea to sacrifice a card each time you have a turn until you think you have enough resources to move on. This is done by “sacrificing” one of the cards in your hand, turning it into a resource. As you begin each battle, you will need to acquire resources, which are used to play other cards.Tap on this card and the game will continue. When your opponent plays a card from their deck, you will be shown a close-up of this card, and the game will pause.Battles are turn-based, and you draw a card from your deck each time your turn comes around. Each battle begins with both you and your enemy drawing six cards from your deck.Tap on one and you will be shown a bit of the game’s storyline in a text window, along with seeing how many experience points and gold you will earn for winning. You will see these opponents as small avatars on the screen. Now, you will be shown the World Map, which is where you find and select other opponents to battle.Once you have chosen your Hero, you will need to choose a username that will be shown to other players in the online space.For the sake of this guide, we have chosen Gwenneth Truesight as our hero – a Hunter. If you like to stand back and fire at enemies from afar, choose a class like a Hunter or Mage. If you’d like melee combat, choose Warriors. The choice of Hero is up to you, based on your expected play style.Flick your finger left and right on the screen to choose from multiple classes, such as Warriors and Priests, each of which comes with different basic statistics and a special move or ability. Now you’ll need to choose your starting Hero to begin playing with your free starter deck.Enter your email address and password in the appropriate text boxes, then tap the “Login/Register” button to continue.
